The Confederate Flag and Sensitive Black People

  1. It grieves me to say this, and God knows I don't want this, but it seems to me that another WBTS 2.0 is in the making. The left will not stop, will not be reasoned with, will not leave others along. The left wants total domination and absolute power. If they want war then let's do it. I want to live in peace with others.

  2. I do not care what they feel. I do not care what they think. I do not care what they say. I do not care what they want. I will give them nothing, and if they wish to take from me, I will make them pay the cost of it in blood. I will not be silent. I will not sit down. I will not surrender my rights and if they try and force my obedience I will make them pay the cost of it in blood. I have tried to live in peace , and at every turn , my sworn enemy has said: Look! he will not fight, let us strike him harder. NO MORE! 3. All I got to say is I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again now: Whites didn’t enslave Blacks — ever. What Whites did was make the mistake of buying Black slaves from other Blacks who had enslaved them and then bringing their merchandise to this country. That was a terrible mistake, and we should rectify it at once by sending back to Africa all of the descendants of those slaves we bought. We shouldn’t even charge them for the time they spent here, which was a much more pleasant time than they would have spent in Africa, and which has been a very expensive time indeed for us.
The best cure for the USA I know of for things that don't belong.

    2. As once seen on a bumper sticker here in coastal NC.
"If I'd know it was going to cause all this trouble I would
have picked my own damned cotton" Or words to that effect.

Fella's farmers are basically a simple lot. They work hard and pay little attention to anything other than how to be better farmers. They go to meetings at the Agriculture office or the Grange or whatever and learn what equipment and techniques make them better, more productive farmers. Sometimes they have to be brought kicking and screaming to new ways of doing things because they figure the fella trying to get them to adopt the new method is just trying to sell them something.

It was, I contend, the same way with slavery. Some fella from up north showed up and held a meeting. He told those that attended, we've got these slaves. It's legal to own them and they work real hard. You need to buy them so you can be more productive because we need your cotton and we don't want to have to get it from somewhere else. So you better buy these slaves and boy do we have a deal for you. We'll sell them to you and deliver them and loan you the money to buy them and you can pay us back with the extra cotton. Guys that the way thing happen in farm country. It's was no different then than it was a few years back when Monsanto came to town and convinced farmers to buy no til planters and use round-up ready seed. Sure, later one there were slave markets but I'll bet you that isn't the way it started.

  4. Yes, indeedy, wave those Confederate flags all over the place and really wave
them when Obama comes to town. He hates the American flag too, recalling
the 4th of July in 2014 with an over-heard remark of how sick he was of seeing
    the flags.
