  1. Went to the website and man looks great. Wouldn't have the first idea how to cook it. Merry Christmas anyway!

    2. Hey Pirate
if it's a salt cured ham then soak it in cold water for 4 hours - then rinse pan, change water turn ham over and soak for another 4 hours. You have to do this to get some of the salt out. Then cook 20 minutes per pound at 350 - fat side up. It's so good it would make a rabbit smack a bulldog.

    3. Mother used to soak them overnight just like the black-eyed peas, but I imagine either way.

    5. I just looked and you can still select Christmas, but I don't know for sure if it will get there in time, though there is a phone number. I have been ordering these since you called on the phone and they shipped your order with the bill.:) How times have changed.

  2. Brock - ever check out Edwards Hams? In Surry , VA just down the road from Smithfield. Smaller family run operation but I think the ham is better. I just bought a 17lb Edwards ham today. Man oh man - it will make your tongue slap your eyeballs out. Merry Christmas to you and yours. Best Wishes. Red, - in Tidewater
