4:07 p.m. update: Members of the South Carolina Senate have voted 37-3 to remove the Confederate battle flag from the Statehouse grounds.
Sen. Lee Bright, R-Roebuck, objected to giving the bill automatic
third reading, which is usually a procedural vote, on Tuesday. For the
bill to be sent to the House, it will need a two-thirds vote.
Monday’s three ‘nay’ votes were from Bright, and Sens. Harvey Peeler
and Danny Verdin. Plus, for the bill to be amended on third reading, it
would need a three-fifths vote.

ReplyDeletePathetic knee jerk reaction. Fools, all.
DeleteFools all...agree.
ReplyDeleteThe harder they try to get rid of it the more attention and promotion it will get....like Obama with guns...record sells under his admin.
Agreed and their wholesale surrender should make every one of them with Confederate ancestors cower like the cowards they are and may their kin spit upon them and never speak to them again. Disgraceful.
DeleteSend them all home. Vote them out. Then deal with 'em.

Thanks and I saw that earlier. Too bad the truck didn't back up over him.
DeleteHave you seen this one: the Christian Flag lording over the Union Flag.
ReplyDeleteAt NASCAR, a camper had the Confederate Flag lording over the Union Flag,
as it should be:

I guess next the attack will be against the Christian Flag
& they are already after the S&S, not that anyone is surprised. Thanks.
