    True story.

    I accidentally ran over a momma mallard in Columbus Ohio once with my big rig.

    Once.
    It was enough.

    It was unavoidable.

    She looked up at me with her big sad duck eyes right before I squished her

    I felt bad.

    For a minute or two

    Damned Buckeye ducks.
    Nuthin' worse than a Buckeye duck.
    Stoopid thing prolly voted for O'Vomit.

    Had it comin,' I suppose.
