What’s Behind Big Pharma’s Freak-out Media Blitz Over Measles?

It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends upon his not understanding it!” – Upton Sinclair, anti-fascist, anti-imperialist American author who wrote in the early 20thcentury

“No vaccine manufacturer shall be liable…for damages arising from a vaccine-related injury or death.” – President Ronald Reagan, as he signed The National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act (NCVIA) of 1986, absolving drug companies from all medico-legal liability when children die or are disabled from vaccine injuries.

”The AAP leadership knows very well that vaccines cause autism. We need not waste anymore efforts in trying to educate them; we need to indict them.” – Dr David Ayoub

“When a well-packaged web of lies has been sold gradually to the masses … the truth will seem utterly preposterous and its speaker, a raving lunatic.” – Dresden James

”In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.“ – George Orwell

Everybody is well aware of the fear-based, 24/7 media freak-out over the 150 cases of red measles in the US, an unreported number of which had already been fully or partially vaccinated against measles. Some of them may possibly have been exposed to a recent vaccinee who was still actively shedding the live virus from that inoculation.

No conscientious truth-telling person in a position of authority has been allowed to come forward with all the facts that we need to know before ignorant non-scientist legislators go off half-cocked and pass laws demanding that every child everywhere be forced to get every CDC-recommended shots that keep the “well-child” clinics humming (despite the fact that the “crisis” is only about measles).

  1. Excellent analysis - I learned some things in this article - Absolving Big Pharma of any responsibility happened in 1986 (Reagan -grrr). And, Gloriosky, the number of vaccines given to a child have soared since then with concurrent illness and disability... just not the measless. It makes me nauseous, especially now that I have a grandchild whose mother will do as she is told when it comes to vaccinations. As a survivor of wild measles, wild chicken pox, wild mumps, I can really appreciate all those quotes - my fav (cuz I am a raving lunatic):

  2. I happen to agree with Vox Day on the vaccination discussion but frankly the whole discussion over measles and mandating vaccination was nothing more than a deflection from the real issue which was that of illegals coming across the border and infecting others with their various maladies. The government and CDC had not even got past their ebola handling fiasco before this one dropped on them. The narrative is becoming harder for them to enforce day after day. Brian Williams pushed the p.c. narrative and was finally eaten by it and now Judge Moore blew up Cuomos "rights" narrative and Rush is having fun with it on the radio. Poor babies are having a breakdown.

  3. That's why Soeotoro and his minions are working fast and furious to make the Internet a govt.-controlled utility. They hate it that we can get the truth out there faster than they can thwart it.
I totally agree that this whole measles scam is a ruse to deflect away from the bio-terrorism (that is, aiding and abetting the invasion of our borders) this PINO loves inflicting on real Americans and friendly/legal foreign visitors. Rope, more rope...

    1. No one hates the Internet more than Bill O'Reilly. He rants nightly about it being dangerous. Of course a liar like he is not dangerous. Just last week he shouted that Nazis were atheists. Every thing I've ever read said that Hitler and his close gang were all Catholics. His (Hitler's) speeches all call on God to help him help Germany. What a lying fool he is.

  4. Life is risk and nothing is ever 100% safe. But there is ABSOLUTELY NO LINK between vaccines and autism....and the physician who started the BS claiming that lost his license to practice for his fraudulent claims. Most of us older people had measles, mumps, chickenpox etc as kids....and survived. BUT a small number of kids did die or suffer permanent disability from these diseases. So there is a risk of negative outcome
For both vaccinated and unvaccinated people. Statistically however there are fewer fatalities among the vaccinate then among those who developed these diseases. And as for Pertussis....'whooping cough'.... A disease that strikes infants the most often and the hardest the mortality rate is quite high....a number slashed to ZERO in the 60-80's by vaccines. Nothing is guaranteed 100% safe.....but history has proven beyond ANY POSSIBLE DOUBT the medical benefits of PREVENTION vs treatment. And ONLY vaccines prevent communicable diseases.

    1. The only thing I am concerned with is the attempt to make them mandatory.

    2. The libertarian in me agrees.....no mandatory vaccination. The degreed healthcare professional with nearly 40 years experience says that if
you or your kids won't accept vaccination then YOU POSE A RISK to everyone else. Your rights end when they affect others....therefore no vaccine? No school, no jobs, no nothing. You will be quarantined from society....by force if necessary. You have a right to refuse medical science. You DO NOT have a right to allow that belief to turn you into a
contagious disease carrier that causes harm to others. Life's tough, wear a helmet.

    3. If vaccination works, why are you worried about becoming infected if you have the vaccine?

      Delete
    4. Don't get it do you.....I am not personally worried. But I see people on a regular basis who have compromised immune systems and other issues
that render them vulnerable to these diseases. Diseases that don't usually kill most people....even though it can happen......diseases that to these people are easily fatal. And they are at risk because people think they don't have to get vaccinated because the disease is no longer a problem....and they are wrong. Herd immunity requires a better than 95% vaccination rate. We are already below that and dropping. I push for vaccines because the risks to those being vaccinated are not zero but are miniscule compared to the risks of not being vaccinated both to the recipient and to others. Refusing a vaccine may be a 'right' but practicing that right puts OTHER PEOPLE at VERY REAL RISK. Therefore the 'right' to refuse must have consequences. Either you get vaccinated or you are segregated from society so that your WILLFUL CHOICE cannot harm another person. Your rights end where the innocent party's right to not be harmed begins.

  5. Facts I got off of Edward Griffin's site ( author of 'The Creature from Jekyll Island')
FACT: For every case of measles in the country, there is 6500+ children with autism. That is the real epidemic the government ignores.

FACT: Not one (ZERO) deaths from measles infection in last 10 years...108 Deaths in last 10 years from the MMR vaccines according to the VAERS and the CDC records.

Recipients of the live MMR vaccine are contagious and spread measles for weeks and
    sometimes months to others.
You can thank the unvaccinated illegal immigrants who are suppose to have a
physical assessment and history prior to entering the populace.
The border patrol are being told to allow the illegal immigrants into our country even
if they have a criminal record. Country's come and go. Gone without even a fight.

  6. Dan, I disagree with a lot of what you are saying, but defend you to the death to say it. Brock is 100% correct in standing against mandatory/govt. enforced vaccinations. Do you ever once ask yourself why all the hysteria over all of this?

During the past 100 years annual deaths due to measles plummeted from thousands to hundreds BEFORE the vaccine was introduced. Our living conditions have vastly improved during that time as well- clean water, indoor plumbing, improved nutrition. Those things all helped health status and immunity far more than vaccines.

The hysteria makes reasonable people ask questions. When I find out that I am being lied to, my skeptic meter goes bonkers. This may be at my own peril, but it should be my right to decline something that the "experts" had to lie about to make their case (btw-Dr. Wakefield has been vindicated- check it out).

No one gets off the planet alive. People get sick, sometimes even after doing everything right. No one is talking about pertussis in this debate. It's about the measles, more specifically, the MMR vaccine (measles, mumps, and german measles aka rubella). These three diseases were lumped together in a single shot for no good reason. If it would help babies not to have these shots all at once, are you against that? If it would help them to be older before getting shot up with all these vaccines, are you against that? There are other ways, but Big Pharma is freaking people out so they shut off the thinking part of their brains. Beware of the manipulation.

    1. See above......and we are not just talking about measles. We are talking about ANY contagious disease that can cause death or disability. Your decision to forgo vaccination does not affect JUST YOU or YOUR FAMILY.
It can affect many other people who for medical reasons are at real significant risk of dying from these diseases if they are exposed to them but
for medical reasons cannot be immunized.

You have the right to refuse to be vaccinated and to choose for your kids.
Society has the right to quarantine you for life by force if necessary to protect
itself from the consequences of your choices. Don't like it? Too bad. That is reality.

    3. Ask your 'country doctor father' about forcing TB patients into sanitariums
because neither vaccines nor effective treatments existed for the disease.

THAT is the issue. Don't want the vaccine? FINE! Enjoy your life locked away.

  7. Dan, I believe this might be how the Reservation came about in Brave New World. A Zero Risk World is more like it. No such Utopia down here, sorry.

I worked in the health/hospital 'industry' for about as many years as you. The facts of the matter don't call for such draconian measures that you are demanding, and you know it. Total ostracization from Society for LIFE because I won't line up for the latest vaccine to thwart this or that disease!?? I experienced the mandatory flu vaccine to keep my job even though I was not dealing with any patients - I protested it vehemently to no avail. BTW- absolutely no effort was made at my hospital to find out if any of the Staff got the flu - They obviously didn't care if it worked or not - Obedience and compliance is all they're after... plus a nice certificate from the Joint Commission/GlaxoSmithKline for the high "compliance" rate.

This is nuts, and you and anyone who think like that are very very scary - far worse than any disease we may suffer.

    1. Total segregation for refusal to be vaccinated? How about if the vaccine is
for a filovirus and an epidemic is raging. Refusal to be vaccinated for diseases like polio, smallpox, pertussis etc. etc. makes an individual a very real risk for being a disease carrier that transmits a disease to another person who could easily suffer permanent damage or die. At THAT POINT the right to refusal must be accompanied by the right of society to impose quarantine.
You can choose.....but all choices have consequences. The issue of whether or not quarantine/segregation is too extreme is subjective...and historically the sad fact is that even if necessary it won't be imposed till a LOT of people have died needlessly.

    2. Dan, you are really making this discussion a moving target. I am talking about childhood diseases, and you're talking about Ebola. I am going to resent very much having to be vaccinated for a disease that my Govt. seems hell-bent on making it a problem here in my country unnecessarily, criminally, in my opinion. Stemming a pandemic by restricting travel from affected countries and by quarantining asymptomatic people returning from these areas seems common sense, but where's the $$$$$$$$$ to Big Pharma? Dr. Brantley admits that he voluntarily put himself at risk and he plans on doing it again. Wow, ain't that just wonderful. I am a horrible person and he is a saint. The only good news out there is that the Ebola virus appears to be not as deadly as it started out to be. Many questions.

In answer to your question - yes, I will take the quarantine over the vaccine for Ebola. I am pretty much a shut-in now, so no big deal.
