GOP elites plot to purge Trump - Pat Buchanan: If GOP has no room for The Donald's followers, it has no future

In the Cleveland debate, Donald Trump refused to commit to support whomever the Republican Party nominates in 2016.

Trump would be wise to maintain his freedom of action.

For there is a plot afoot in the Washington Post Conservative Club to purge Trump from the Republican Party before the primaries begin.

“A political party has a right to … secure its borders,” asserts the Post’s George Will, “a duty to exclude interlopers.” Will wants The Donald “excommunicated” and locked out of all GOP debates until he kneels and takes a loyalty oath to the nominee.

“Marginalizing Trump” carries no risk of “alienating a substantial Republican cohort,” Will assures us, for these “Trumpites” are neither Republicans nor conservatives. Better off without such trash.

  2. The only trash I see are the likes of George Will. Time for the Trumpites to take over and see the trash squirm.

  3. After the way the Goppies and Faux Noose treated Dr. Paul, us delegates, and the rest of the Liberty Movement, I'm tempted to root for Trump just to piss them off.

However, anger makes for bad politics and the problem with arguing with idiots like Gop and Faux is the onlookers are not going to know who is who.

The Gop would rather have the PC idiots as controlled opposition than someone sane as legitimate opposition.

  4. Just like they did Ron Paul - he didn't suit their purpose. Actually, I am sick of THEM.
    Whatever they want, I don't.

  5. As a non American not living in America my friends and I follow your presidential marathon closely. Whomever you elect affectscus, we love Trump. He may not became great president political and that is why we love him. UScforeign policy suks. Ask any non American who will say the same. Only a business hard man knows how to create jobs, focus on home. Let the middle east designate itself (ship aid such as tactical nuclear weapons take 20,000 taxa time). You got a chance to make America great again. God helpnAmerica if the usual buffoons win. We, other westerners counting on you America, sort your shit out, or we all doomed. Trump for president, please.
