Back when Glenn Beck first appeared on FOX I warned people that this guy was not all he appeared to be.

A couple of years ago Beck and a minister named David Barton (Barton has a site called “Wallbuilders”) claimed that the Confederate Constitution had in its title, “The SLAVEHOLDING States of the Confederate States of America") They also claimed that the Confederate Founders mandated that any future state wishing to join the Confederacy would have to be a “slave state.” Both claims were patently untrue and the mistake, or lie if you prefer,  can be easily exposed with some simple research. Other than letters from a few nobodies like me however, these two liars went unchallenged.

It appears that the two are at it again….going after the Confederate boogeyman, this time focusing on Nathan Bedford Forrest. I do hope that by bringing this bare faced lie to the attention of the readers of this newsletter, that somehow, someone with some clout, perhaps an historian on our side, will give these guys “the cold steel” of truth and expose their lies.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I caught your act on "Nathan Bedford Forrest" recently. If the story of noses growing longer each time a person told a lie (ala "Pinocchio") were true, the two of you would need flatbed trucks to haul your schnozzes around.

Several years ago I saw the two of you partner on a lie that the Confederate Constitution contained the title "The Slaveholding States of the Confederate States of America" - There is of course, no such phrase or title in that Constitution. On that show you also claimed that in order for a state to join the Confederacy that it had to be a slave state. The records of the 1861 Constitutional Convention in Montgomery Alabama clearly show that this is not so. So then, either the two of you never read the Confederate Constitution or looked at what happened at the Confederacy's Constitutional Convention and are lying, or, you simply made a mistake. I'm opting for door number one. You both are liars. Now it appears that the two of you are at it again, this time with Forrest. I guess you can't understand the difference between "allegations" and "truth"....or.... you both are lying again.

Beck, I smelled a B.S. artist the first time I saw you. Stop trying to pander to Black Americans by attacking what you perceive to be "bad guys" on the Conservative side. Anyone who knows what bull***t smells like knows what you are." Barton, I'm not a very religious person and you are a minister....so you tell me...doesn't it say somewhere that lying is a sin?????

"Since the war began I have captured many thousand Federal prisoners, and they, including the survivors of the Fort Pillow massacre (black and white), are living witnesses of the fact that with my knowledge or consent, or by my order, not one of them has ever been insulted or in any way maltreated."

  1. This is just one of the reasons I can't stand Beck. I have seen him and Barton go off on General Forrest before. I won't even read The Blaze online unless you link to it. At one time I was a fan and subscriber.
    Despicable liars.

  2. Oh, you don't want me to get started! Beck and Barton have been doing this for a long time now. (There are YouTube videos on it which I have seen.)

I too thought Beck was a fraud the first time I saw him, but trying to convince other people, even many good folks is like talking to a sign board and I made out to be the crazy one.

It didn't take long to verify my suspicions. Beck is nothing but a true Fascist. He actually gives credence to the liberals who calls *RINOs* fascists, and it is perfectly true.

Barton, he may call himself a minister and claim to be so faithful, but he is also a fascist using religion as his crutch. (T'is nothing new to history. Nor do I accept Barton as any kind of minister.)

Know that tyrannical states LOVES to use religion to help further their goals. In the past it was through what we know as a "State religion". Today because of the US Constitution government elites has to be creative and appear to be open to ALL religions in order to achieve their agenda with the help of all religions that will cater to them for scraps as favors.

What gets me and what is not known is that Beck and Barton go on these tours giving these lectures and they charge money to tell these lies! What makes these two even bigger hypocrites and now liars, is the fact they have been told numerous times they are wrong and they will not admit it, much less apologize. I have absolutely no use for either of those two *CHUMPS*!

  3. While I like Glenn, I do believe his personal beliefs color a lot of comments. On this subject, I am somewhat willing to cut him a little slack. I grew up a Yankee and I can promise you anyone that grew up a Yankee was indoctrinated concerning the Civil War. I have self-educated and the truth is not what I was taught. Beginning in first grade I was taught the Civil War was only about the south wanting to keep slaves. I learned that southerners fought only to keep slavery alive. This is what I was taught almost from my first day in school to my last day in college. Then back that indoctrination with TV shows and movies confirming those ideas and that concept is a well imbedded.

It took me years to accept the truth concerning the Civil War. I could read the facts and even accept they were true. That did not change my paradigm that the War was over slavery. My world has changed I now accept the truth and my paradigm is now slavery had little to nothing to do with the Civil War. Truth is slavery was ending on its own with increasing mechanization. As machines further improved and prices declined, the cost of slaves would have exceeded the cost of a machine. Slavery would not have ended with a bang but slowly faded due to economic reality. This is not and never has been taught in schools. They would rather perpetuate the myth southerners were monsters that bought slaves so they could abuse them.

    1. Good comment, though since Beck is supposedly good friends with the judge, he must know the truth and is simply being disingenuous for ratings/PC, I conclude.

  4. Glenn Beck is great on progressive tactics and calling it like he see's it but civil war history is not his strong suit considering his carpetbagging love for Lincoln.
I have always considered Lincoln to be Beck's worst nightmare the very first "progressive".
